I Left my Heart in Puerto Princesa
I want this blog to be informative as much as possible, for the sake of those na gusto din magtravel by their own. I mean without paying travel agencies and tour guides para makatipid.
2 days before the trip, hotel was booked via agoda.com. Hotel's name is Palawan Village hotel. 1,850 per pax for 4 days 3 nights. Airport shuttle from and to airport included.
Day 1. Flight to Puerto Princesa at 7am. Fare costs 400+ per person. We rode a cab to the airport at 5am, hindi kasi namin alam pano makapunta sa airport ng hindi sasakay sa taxi.
Arrived at Puerto Princesa Airport at around 10am. Flight was delayed for 45mins due to air traffic.
Natulog kami until 2pm. Right after shift kasi nag-impake kami then deretso na sa airport. Haha! Dumayo sa PP para matulog.
Afterwards, we ate in a resto called Balinsasayaw. The food was great and affordable.
The food in the picture above, that is only for 75php. :) That's a grilled tuna.
Happy faces after eating juicy grilled tuna. :)
After eating, we went to Baker's hill. We hired a tricycle for 150. Haha! 100 saken, 150 kay JM. Hehe.
Baker's hill is a park that is owned by 3 old maids. Idea came from abroad also, according to Kuya Manong. Walang entrance fee sa Baker's hill which is nakakatuwa. ;) Specialty nila is hopia.
This is the house of the 3 old maids.
Haha!
To cap the night off, we went to Kinabuchs to eat dinner. We ordered Mixed Seafood in creamy sauce. We paid only 150pesos each. It is a mixture of shrimp, squid, tuna with onion and bell pepper.
Aside from the delicious food, the bar is so cool. It has tv everywhere showing Starworld sports at may isang malaking naka-project sa parking lot. May billiard pools at dalawa ang bar counter. May photo gallery din! This bar is really awesome. We ate here twice sa sobrang wili namin sa place at food.. Walang sinabi ang McClarens Pub.
Day 2. We went island hopping! Honda bay ang tawag nila. 1st island is called Snake Island kasi hugis snake daw yung island. We went snorkling and fish feeding. As in makakakita ka ng school of fish at mapapakain mo sila with your bare hands! It is a lot better if you could bring your own snorkling gear. If you have none, it is not a problem because you can rent it naman in the wharf before you go to the islands.
We ate sugpo, sweet lips fish, mangga and bagoong and a lot more!!!
Next stop: Starfish Island. Kasi madami daw starfish sa island na yun, which is true.
Last stop: Pambato reef. Here is where you call snorkling experience! Ganda ng view sa ilalim ng tubig. Parang discovery channel lang.
Chilling while waiting for my turn to snorkle. :)
After island hopping, we ate in a very cozy restaurant, Kalui.
This is JM, not Bianca Gonzales, okay? ;)
The best restaurant I've been in my life. Hay. :)
Day 3: Underground river. The candidate for the new 7 wonders of nature. Winners will be announced on Nov. 11, 2011, so vote na! You can vote via this link: http://www.new7wonders.com/.
Another good thing in travelling, you will meet different kinds of people. :)
Hay. Love this shot of them. Growing old together. :)
In the evening of our third night, Kinabuchs once again! Now with JM's friends. :)
Tiki Bar after...
...where someone stole my heart. <3
Eto talaga yung mga tipo ko! Yung mga matataba at walang showmanship tumugtog. Haha! Love at my first sight! :D
Happy and contented. :)
It is all worth the gastos! I will definitely do this again. :)
